Faith

Jump and the net will appear. It's a great saying to talk about faith, but how do you get the faith to jump in the first place? When starting a new project of any kind, from beginning a new business through to losing weight, it can be easy to have doubts about your potential success. How can you just believe that everything will work when you have never done any of this before? The simple answer is, you can’t, and because of that, we often lack faith in what we are doing and even in our ability to do what needs to be done. But that can change.

To succeed as a Moral Authority Leader, faith is a basic requirement. You need faith to propel you through the hard times and all of the doubts that will arise. It will keep you going when you feel like quitting. Faith will also inspire all those around you when times are hard, lift them up and help to motivate them to getting the job done.

Now this is not faith in a god or any other type of deity. That is a different type of faith. This faith is about who you are, and your level of ability to complete what you started out to do. This is faith you have developed yourself and earned from your followers because you have a plan that works

But how do you build that faith in yourself so you can achieve more, and be more inspirational? Like everything when first starting out, faith can be built slowly by following a proven system with mentorship.

Using a proven system

When starting out in something new, most of us have very little idea of what we actually need to do in order to succeed. Yes, we have dreams and goals, but we have little knowledge of what we need to do and how we need to do it. The basic knowledge required to get started can sometimes allude us and that can create doubt. That is where a proven system comes in.

When starting a business and moving to develop yourself as a Moral Authority Leader, you will require a system in which people can follow you. It is impossible to lead when you are directionless and do not have anything to lead people in. This is one of the reasons I do not give advice to people on random subjects.

Some of the best systems to lead people in, especially to become a Moral Authority Leader when first starting out are volunteer organisations, franchises and the often dreaded (and highly misunderstood) network marketing businesses. These places normally have a proven system that works, no matter if you like the system or not. And to a Moral Authority Leader, the system itself doesn't matter, as long as it is moral, ethical and legal. As long as the system works and will help you, and the people following you to learn, grow and achieve your goals then I say go for it.

(Remember Moral Authority Leaders do not get stuck on small minded thinking like, are they passionate about the process, they focus on personal growth and the ultimate outcome. If you want to get caught up on the “what” and the “how” and put your dreams at risk, then you are not ready to become a leader, especially a Moral Authority Leader)

When you utilise a proven system, you need to let go of what you believe and learn to trust that system. Trusting the system is what will create faith within you. That also means trusting the system even at times when you think it’s not working. It is when the system does not appear to be working, that you develop your Moral Authority leadership skills and faith. You grow through the grind, learning how to do things better, and how to help others when they are in the same situation.

But remember that a proven system only works if you are willing to apply the system and follow what you have been told to do. It's just like going to the gym. Just because you go to the gym does not mean you will just lose weight and put on muscle. You actually have to do the physical work. And normally there is a basic system such as 3 reps of ten for every muscle you are working.

Most people that go to the gym will then follow the system they have been given, but they will not see any results for the first few weeks. They will be sore but there will be no visible signs of weight loss and muscle development. It’s then that people can lose faith, but for those that fight through the pain, hold onto their faith and keep on going, the results of following the system start to show themselves. Developing as a leader is no different.

Let’s look at Ray Croc and the development of McDonald's. While Ray may not have created the McDonald's hamburger production line system, he applied it in every store without change and it worked every time. When some store owners deviated from the system, they struggled and failed. That is when Croc applied the franchise model. He trained people in the system and showed them why it worked. When the franchisees knew why, not just the how, and the value behind it they developed faith in the system and applied it without fail. Now that same system has worked, with very few cultural tweaks for various countries, all over the world for 64 years.

The faith people have in McDonald’s was created by both Croc and the franchisees. Croc had faith that, through the proven system of franchising, he would make McDonald's a global brand and he would become incredibly rich. The franchisees also had faith that through the proven system of McDonald's that if they applied it to the letter, they would also become rich. And it has made millionaires all over the world, when the system is applied properly.

You can bet that for Croc and all of the franchisees that there were dark days where they doubted the system, as it had yet to proven itself. They worried that they were going off on the wrong path. However, with strong Moral Authority Leader at the helm who had a vision and faith, the franchisees were influence and motivated to stay true to the system, and create their own faith in it.

Mentorship

If you have read any of my other articles you will know that I am a big believer in mentorship. I like it as it allows me to learn from someone else that has the results I want. And when applied to a proven system it is invaluable.

When starting a new business by yourself, there are very few people who can help you develop your business. Other people in the same field as you are only going to see you as competition and will not be willing to help you. That just makes the task harder and now you have people hoping you will fail. If you do get a mentor, then the main problem is, they may be able to teach you in the area of leadership, but they will not be able to help your in business as they have no experience in it.

Again, that is where the McDonald’s system works to their advantage. McDonald's has a financial interest in the franchisees succeeding. The better the franchisees does, the better McDonald's does, it’s a win-win scenario, so they want to help the franchisees grow and develop as much as possible.

McDonald's provides training and mentoring for all of the franchise owners. They have a huge network of franchisees who they will put you in contact with when you need help. The other franchisees don’t see others as competition, but as a collective there to help people get through the same issue that they once had. They are willing to share information and support.

Through a mentor you will develop your own faith as they will show you where you are going well and where you need to improve. They will be able to tell you about their failures and how they got past them, and how they were able to succeed any way. They will encourage you and be honest with you to help you grow and become a stronger Moral Authority Leader.

If you have doubts about mentorship, then look at Bill Gates and Warren Buffet. Buffet has been Gates mentor for many years. Warren has taught Bill the important aspects of business, investing and leadership, plus so much more. I would gather that Bill Gates gained a huge amount of personal faith knowing that a billionaire like Warren Buffet believes in him and is willing to give him his time.

I know from my relationship with my own mentor that her belief in me, and her willingness to give me her time creates a great deal of faith within me. I get that faith because I know she won’t waste time with people she doesn’t believe in. She has taught me about business, leadership and asset creation. She has also taught me about the importance of time. With her in my corner, and my continue application of a business system in which she can help and guide me, I have developed a deep faith that I will achieve my goals. In short, with her help, I jumped, and she brought the net.

In the long run, there is never a guarantee of success in anything and it can all fail. The system could fall apart and the mentor could be useless. However, what normally happens is, regardless of how great or easy the system is, or how wonderful the mentor is, people just don’t put in the effort. It’s not the mentor or system that fails, it’s the person. They don’t work hard enough, long enough, apply the system properly or listen to their mentor. Then they lose faith, not in the system or mentor, but in themselves.

The fastest way to succeed is through a system and mentor. Have a vision that you want to achieve, stop making the process more important than the outcome and just do was you are told. It will take a few years, and some parts will be hard, but if you develop that faith in yourself, you will succeed, and help others succeed at the same time. Then once you have made your money and have the lifestyle you like, you will have enough money to fund your passions and be able to show people how to do the same thing.

Of course, there is more to success than just that. If you are serious about success, then maybe you should consider getting a mentor for yourself. If mentorship is something you are serios about, then click the this link MENTORSHIP and follow the instructions on the proceeding page.
